Baby monitor (Double or not??)

Hi,

Just looking some advice re monitors - When do people typically move monitors out of kids rooms? My DS will be 3 in March - We still have a monitor in his room. Baby will be due in May. My Current monitor needs replaced anyway as the unit is faulty.

My question is - Do I get a double monitor for both DC? and If so any recommendations??

How far away from your child are you sleeping and spending the evening? I never used a monitor for dc as I live in a small bungalow and never far enough away to need one. If you can't hear your 3 year old because of house layout get a double, but chances are they're loud enough without. Do whatever makes you feel better.
