I was wondering if anyone has any experience of alternating prenatal multivitamins with folic acid & Vit D on different days and knew if it was OK/ what their experience was?
Basically I feel like I eat well and get most the nutrients I need, but would want to make sure I'm definitely getting enough of the right vitamins during early pregnancy and throughout pregnancy. So I want to take the multivitamin pregnacare prenatals twice a week and then all the days in-between just take folic acid & vitamin D.
I'm not deficient in any vitamins so don't want to be overloading my body with the iron etc which is in the multivits when not needed but just keep it topped up twice a week.
If anyone has any experience/general thoughts/advice on this, would be much appreciated.
