Getting back into exercise after c section?

I’m having an elective c section at the end of February, I know I will need to rest afterwards but I also want to get back into gentle exercise as soon as I can. I haven’t been super active during pregnancy because I’ve had really low energy and bad pelvic girdle pain throughout. I know I can go for gentle walks etc a few weeks after, and I was thinking about swimming too.

Does anyone have any other exercise ideas that will help me get back into shape but also won’t be too intense post c-section?

100% I would do post natal pilates for at least 3 months. That alongside all the pram walks is a good place to start.

Try the birthfit 'lying in' plan. Very cheap, go at your own pace. Covers the first 30 days.

There's a lot of videos on YouTube specifically designed for post c section. I think you've got the best one with swimming though.
