Dreams of miscarriage coming true

I know this is going to sound ridiculous but I'm looking for any explanation or similar experiences. Around 3 years ago I woke from a dream where I was told I was pregnant and this was a lottery win child. At the time I thought nothing of it but then became pregnant. It was not the right time and I ended up terminating the pregnancy.
Since then I have gotten married and recently we have been trying for a baby. I had another dream that I was pregnant but that "they" feared I would lose it. 2 weeks later I find out I'm pregnant but 72 hours later I have a miscarriage.
I am both traumatised by the loss and haunted by the fact I seem to have dreamt both scenarios. Has this happened to anyone else or is there any explanation?

So sorry for your loss OP. I also had dreams about pregnancy and loss. Personally, I think is our mind getting crazy since we are thinking and stressing about it. Pregnancy loss is unfortunately something very common.

And the dream from some years ago was probably just a coincidence.

Best of luck. Hope things go as you wish soon!

I don't see any particular coincidences in either situation to be honest. Our minds go over the possibilities and these are not unlikely occurrences to imagine. There's also the likelihood of positive bias where you notice the times your dreams coincide with reality but don't factor in the far more frequent times when they don't.

I had two dreams I was pregnant in a week (never dreamt this before, wasn't trying for a baby) but I took a test before my missed period due to some cramping and it was positive. Three weeks later I had a dream that I lost the baby (it wasn't the main part of the dream but happened within it) - later that day I started with horrible pain, went to the EPU and was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy.

I'd never had dreams about pregnancy or loss other than those three and I was freaked out too! I felt like my body knew before my brain did. That said, I'm pregnant again now and have had no dreams about pregnancy or loss at all - currently 20 weeks.

I didn't necessarily have dreams, but I always knew deep down that my son wasn't coming home with us. I never relaxed in the pregnancy and was constantly convinced something was wrong. I drove my husband and mum a bit mad I think with my constant worrying. I finally started relaxing into the pregnancy at 25 weeks and trying to tell myself everything would be fine now we'd made it so far. Two weeks later, at a private scan, we were told he's been having strokes and seizures in the womb, and sadly he was born sleeping at 33 weeks.
I strongly believe in mother's intuition, as when I was pregnant with my rainbow baby, I was anxious throughout the pregnancy but I just knew that she would be fine and would come home with us. She's now 5 months old!

I have had three miscarriages and dreamt I lost the pregnancy around the same time that I miscarried with the last two (all missed miscarriages)
I hold on to the fact that I was just anxious due to the first miscarriage and that caused the dreams. I really don't want to think it might be anything else!
