I am 7 weeks and I think im getting the beginning of MS. I haven't actually been sick but stomach is churning, strange taste in my mouth and generally odd feeling. I haven't yet gone off any foods though, i just feel so tired!

is anyone else struggling to concentrate at work because of this, any tips??!

god I panicked when I mis-read your post - thought you were getting symptoms of MS - Multiple Sclerosis! rest assured that morning sicknes is just a temporary thing and will eventually go!

i was so sick i was on sick leave for 2 months - even if i struggled into work I felt so awful I couldn't do anything useful anyway - hope you feel better soon!

I had this too, an odd taste with nausea a lot of the time, so much so that I actually wanted to be sick to try and get rid of it!
Your body is working incredibly hard at the moment with all the chemical changes so no wonder you feel tired.
Preggy Pops can help with the taste in your mouth - I liked the sugar free boiled sweet-type lollies I got in my local health food store. And ginger beer as well, tho some cant stand it.
Make sure your work know how you are feeling, and your GP too, so that if you need to take time off everyone is kept informed. MS can hit some people very hard so just concentrate on looking after yourself. Hope that helps X

I wasn't actually sick until 8 weeks but by God did I feel rough! Now the 24hr nausea has gone and it's replaced with being sick in the evenings, and bad smells always bring on volly of gagging - a woman's perfume at the bus stop had me gagging in full view this morning, niiice!

You could try sea bands - they were a life saver for me - but don't seem to work for everyone. You can get them from chemists. If you're still keeping quiet about your pg at work, then you might be in long sleeves for a while to cover them up though!

Oh, and eating frequently will help too - great excuse for lots of snacking at your desk!

Oh and in answer to your work question - I can't keep my eyes open at work, let alone do any work so if this persists past a week or so I am going to take some sick leave to try and get back on track - getting up for three or four wees a night is taking its toll, I wake up in the morning more tired than I was when I went to bed!
