Another Breech question

I'm 26.5 weeks and baby is breech. Second pregnancy and first one was head down at this point. I don't have any of the risk factors for breech I.e my fluid is fine etc.

I'm really terrified at the thoughts of a c section so it's really bothering me.

Do babies move alot still at this point??

Following your post. My baby is also breech at 31 weeks 🥴 x

Still loads of time for them to move. Please don’t worry yet. Try looking up Spinning Babies exercises to help move them.

Kindofcrunchy · 14/01/2023 16:26

I wouldn't even worry about this until 36w+. Baby still has loads of time and space to move, especially in a second pregnancy.

ProserpinaProserpina · 14/01/2023 16:29

Baby Has at least 10 weeks to turn, probably more as it’s your second.

Vaginal breech may well be a viable option for you depending on your risk factors etc. as well.

BabyFour2023 · 14/01/2023 16:30

I’m not sure, but there’s loads of time left so I’m sure they must move?

we have different mindsets though as I clicked on this to say at least you won’t have to fight for a c section 😂

They try turning them usually so you could ask about that.

Thanks all for your comments and advice! No @BabyFour2023 I know obviously a emcs could happen regardless but the thought of the c section fate predetermined at this stage 😭I was hoping to try hyponobirthing. Looked up spinning babies but it's confusing. This baby was head down at 22 weeks so he has turned since

Don’t even think about it. 26weeks is so early, they flip round all the time, sometimes multiple times a day. If you were breech and 36weeks we would be talking about ECV, vaginal breech, elective CS

That’s positive he’s already turned once! Definitely YouTube some techniques to try and get baby to turn naturally and good luck!!
