Spotting in pregnancy

Hi all,

I am 6 weeks 5 days pregnant and started spotting on and off a couple of weeks ago. It was so light that I almost had to hold my knickers against the light! It always happens first thing in the morning. This morning tho, it was a little heavier than normal but still not heavy at all.
I went to see my GP last week and he send me for an early scan. The pregnancy is in the right place but the embryo was so small they could not detect a heartbeat (too early). I have another scan in less than 2 weeks.
I am really worried as I didn't have any problems during my first pregnancy. I also wonder whether this is happening because a I had a c section with my 10 month old dd.

Thanks
