If your first came at 42+ weeks, when did your second come?

My first was 42+2 (induced and my body was in no way close to labour even at that point...)

Now 38 weeks with #2 and gearing myself up for a longish wait!

If you were 42 weeks with your first, did your second arrive a bit more promptly?

Bang on due date.

But...I gave everybody a wrong due date (around 42 weeks) to avoid the nightmare again of "Is baby here yet?" multiple times, every bloody day! 😂

Yeah 42+2 and 41+6. Second one was at least not an induction!

DS1 induced 42+1

Well the 36/36 ship has very much sailed... But maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised!

For various reasons, I'd be induced at 41 weeks this time, so at least I can probably avoid another 42 weeker.

First was 41 +6 days (but induced, and even then took four days of labour so imagine I'd have gone over 42 if left to start naturally).

Second my waters broke at 38 weeks, induced again as no labour, baby came a couple of days later.

42 with first and had to be induced.

41 with second but he came on his own, fairly quickly as well!

All three of them were 13 days over. All three I went into slow labour and they had to speed things up. The last one shot out after six pushes so I got better at it as time went along :)

Baby 1 was 42 weeks. Baby 2 was bang on her due date.

Baby #1: 41+6
Baby #2: 39+6
Baby #3: 41+1

I did have an early sweep with #2, so I suspect that's why!

42 weeks first born, then 35 for second and 38 for third :)

Induced at 42 weeks with first (which resulted in emergency section), spontaneous labour and successful VBAC at 40+3 with 2nd

17 days late first baby (by their dates but just less than two wks by mine), second baby, a week early.

First, induced at 42, section at 42+3 as I never went into labour (my notes record I got to 0.5cm, which isn't even a thing 🙄). Second, section at 41+6 as he went into distress even though I didn't go into labour then either. So much hypno birthing wasted...

DC1 was 41+6 (induced). DC2 was 40+3 (spontaneous).
