Pregnant at 44

Hi all, my period is due in 3 days but I’ve been unusually bloated, lots of CM and runny nose so thought I’d test. I am shocked. I have 2 teens. Anyone else pregnant mid 40s?

@44andpregnant congratulations, I'm in same boat just turned 42 and found out after Christmas that I'm pregnant, nearly 7 weeks now. I also have 2 young teenage girls, 10 and 13. I opened new thread 'pregnant at 40+ years old' if you wish to join.

Thanks, yes I told my kids and my partner so far. They were a bit shy about it, even asking how it's even possible at my age 😁 but went right away to search for names lol I think it will get more real to them when I get bigger. Don't be scared, you are not alone in this situation plus I think we are lucky to have older children, they can support you plus it's good lesson for them.
