I'm 8 weeks and been getting bad waves of nausea. I haven't been sick (yet) I'm hoping it stays this way. I contacted the docs who prescribed me with Prochlorperazine. However I've read so many bad reviews about the awful side effects this medication gives people and now I don't want to take it.

I said to the doc I don't like medication that causes drowsiness and right across the box it says you may feel drowsy. 😭 I just don't like that feeling.

Anyone been on this before? I'm too scared to take it,

I was just prescribed this earlier this week and it has worked. I'm almost 13 weeks and my symptoms were getting worse, not better. I have lost around 4.5kg from being so ill. I was hesitant too, but I was so tired of feeling sick and decided to take them and have zero regrets. I've stopped feeling sick and had zero side effects. I'm still struggling with food aversion, but I can eat and don't feel nauseous all day. I only wish I had taken it sooner instead of feeling ill for over 6 weeks!!

I had prochlorperazine after the cyclizine they initially prescribed did bugger all. It was absolutely magical. Took me from 24/7 debilitating nausea to being able to function like a normal person.

I did feel very fatigued on it for a couple of days, but it wore off down to 'normal' 1st trimester fatigue levels. The anti-sickness effect took hold immediately, I could feel myself getting less nauseated within an hour of the first dose. I was on 3 tablets a day till 14 weeks and gradually phased it out.

Everyone will have different experiences, but it's worth a shot honestly.

It worked better for more than cyclizine i took both together
it made me tired to begin with but i did get used to it and wasnt as tired
plus the energy that comes from food and drink helped much more than the aickness where i wasnt eating anything! Stick with it

I'm 16 weeks and been on this since around 7 weeks! No side affects at all, was really concerned about feeling drowsy as needed to drive/work every day, so I first tried it on the weekend, perhaps the first couple of tablets made me feel a bit more tired than usual but since then absolutely fine. Hasn't 100% stopped the nausea but it has stopped the actual sickness and it's allowed me to start eating again which helps the nausea too.

I was really hesitant about taking any medication but honestly don't know how I would have coped without it lol

I've been on this since 28 weeks, now 39 weeks after not having any sickness up till then and these have been amazing.

Not suffered and not been drowsy due to them at all. I found more because they work so fast, tiredness kicked in a little because I was able to relax without being sick.
Hope you feel better soon OP.
