So tonight I went for a rescan of my 4D scan, baby is still breech but what’s concerned me is the sonographers comments.. firstly she said:
my Amniotic fluid is low, she then measured each pool and didn’t say anything else, she then sent me all the photos she took including that one with the measurements and with a amount of 8cm for AFI, when I googled this, it shows that’s very bottom end of normal for the amniotic fluid and in the scan she kept going back to baby’s kidneys & bladder and was just silent, when I asked is everything ok she said “yes I’m sure they looked at all this at the 20 week scan”.
but after googling, I can see that low atomic fluid can cause problems with kidneys and bladders so probably why she was looking into it so much, but I feel with the fluid being so low shouldn’t she of told me to contact my midwife or something just to be sure? or should I just trust she would of said something to me there & then if she was worried ?
