At 6am (ish) I woke up with period pain type cramps which went away after about an hour. I was a bit worried but put this down to stretching / growing as my bump has felt like it’s been growing.

Didn’t do much today as thought I’d rest, went to the loo at about 5pm and when I wiped there was discharge which was very slightly tinged pink… nothing since (touch wood) but I’m now worried as with the cramps earlier it’s scared me!

I’m 17 weeks 1 day so am still guided to GP or A&E which I obviously don’t want to do. Tempting to phone the 24hr number for triage but don’t think I should. I had a scan last Thursday and everything was fine but I can’t help but worry.

Would you phone the GP in the morning?

Phone them for peace of mind. See if you can get another scan. For now just rest. Don't do anything else. X

Call your midwife, they may be able to listen to baby to reassure you.

With those symptoms you should be seeking medical attention. Your GP won’t be able to do anything. In my area it’s triage after 16 weeks?

Seek advice from your midwife. It's probably fine, I had a massive bleed at 12 weeks that lasted over a month - really scary but she's fine and 14 now.
Do seek help, I'd probably call now if they do out if hours or first thing tomorrow for some support, don't forget there is a lot of growth going on so pains do ensue and the placenta is moving and growing and bleeding does happen to some people.
Do you feel Movement yet? It's still early though so don't worry if not.
Good luck and never feel bad for calling the midwives or other support for help.

It’s triage after 18 weeks here but maybe I should just give them a call as I’m only 6 days short.
