Ok, you Mumsnetters have been fantastically helpful with all my questions and wants and some kind souls have even sent me things (You know who you are - thank you!)

But I still need a decent lightweight buggy/travel system I can take on the bus, pref suitable from birth, with a raincover, footmuff, shopping basket and bag that ISNT ten years old/ripped/filthy and smelling of cat. Maybe even a car seat for when DP and I go out in the car. I usually use public transport so that is a major consideration.

I cant believe that no-one in Edinburgh has this/these to sell. I can afford £80-£100 thru paypal (credit card) for the lot.

Or AIBU and do these things cost too much to sell for such a low price, second hand or not? If so please tell me and I will stop wasting my energy. I dont want to insult anyone and sorry for the rant. I havent looked on any retail websites except Toys R Us and the one that was recommended was sold out.

I've got two months to go and thought I would have this sorted by now. [exasperated]

here for a stroller, not travel system though.....but if its gonna be you mostly using it, out and about you won't need the car seat so much....can buy that separate and leave it in the car.

BearMama · 05/02/2008 21:54

Morning, have re-sent the other 4 pics on 4 seperate emails so they should get to you this morning.
Email me if you have any questions!

sambrads · 06/02/2008 10:07

i bought one off ebay that encluded the car seat as you can click the car seat into the pram .

if you go to car seats on ebay and type in mama and papas they are actually quite cheap!!

i asked someone who knows alot about prams and they said you caould use it from birth lying right back and putting the footmuff in .
i hope i have helped xox

BearMama · 06/02/2008 10:54

I am pushchair mad and I say graco is not the best in fact quite rubbish having owned over 100 pushchairs in 5 years I think i know what I'm talking about by now! I say get a M&P luna as it is lightweight small practical and comes with raincover and footmuff and suitable from birth plus very cheap or a petite star zia almost the same but 3 wheeler!

pushchairmad · 18/02/2008 13:33

Aria not best choice in my opinion i'm afarid as having owned one I found the brakes in an awkward place as the kept coming on when going up and down curbs or steps, really frustrating!

Pannacotta · 18/02/2008 13:58

I found the Loola great when my son was newborn, also you can add a car seat just to the chassis (rather than sitting it inside the main buggy seat IYSWIM) which makes it lightweight. I have one I am looking to sell in red, fab condition and no bad smells!!
Can email pics if you are interetested?
Agree choosing a pram is a bit of a minefield!

BearMama · 18/02/2008 14:14

Well Pannacotta I bought an Aria but would love a Loola. Only have £50 in budget tho and think that might be way less than you want (just a bit!)- thanks for the offer tho.

BearMama was after £100 delivered for it ONO.
If you might be interested I am v happy to send pics.
It comes with raincover and instructions (no car seat, we didn't use it as a travel system, I found the seat unit alone was enough and is very easy to collapse).

BearMama · 18/02/2008 15:44

Sorry Pannacotta even though that's v reasonable its more than I can afford. I'm sure you will have takers for that price tho! Thanks again
