This is literally taking over my life to the point where I am considering paying for a pre natal dna test which is like £800

Bit of back ground sorry I suffer with severe OCD and am pregnant but only been with my partner we had a night out together round about the time I conceived even tho I can remember most of this night I keep getting the nasty horrible thoughts of what if I got raped or had sex with somebody else has this ever happens to anyone else

Hi,

Firstly, it might be worth speaking to a doctor about your thoughts. Is there any reason you are feeling like that?

I’ve had my baby, but I was due 28th July from scan, my LMP had my due due date at 23rd July. I have long cycles, that is why my due date was later. I conceived my baby at the start of November.

Hope this helps!

Hi OP, agree with what the previous poster said. I haven't had my dating scan yet, it's tomorrow, but has an early scan which gave me a due date of the 19th July, my LMP was 14th October.

Hello!
Just saw your message and had to respond, I too have OCD and intrusive thoughts and had EXACTLY the same worry when I was pregnant with my first, it's absolutely insane what your mind can make up and how it can really impact your life. I have actually gone on to stop drinking completely because it was the only way to stop the 'unknown'.

I just want you to know you are not weird or anything for these thoughts and it's your brain literally making you feel like shit. GP's usually just prescribe anti depressants but I found talking therapy really helpful.

It's so sad that these things can impact such a wonderful time in your life, but congratulations on your pregnancy, happy to talk if you need it x

Conceived 6/11, due 28/07 (although I haven't had a scan yet). Sorry your feeling this way it must be really hard for you ❤️ and no what your saying has likely never happened to anyone and won't have happened to you either the chances of that are so unbelievably slim. If you remember most of the night you would 100% remember sleeping with someone else/being raped. I really think you should talk to your gp/midwife about how are you are feeling they may be able to offer some help. Congratulations on your pregnancy ❤️
