Has anyone been allowed to carry on past 37 weeks after waters breaking?

Just wondering if anyone has gone on closer to due date than 37 weeks after PPROM, what criteria you had to meet to do this and if it was against medical advice? I would like to give my baby every extra day that is safe in the womb and I'm happy to travel to the hospital everyday if need be for monitoring to see how he's doing given my fluid levels are still ok (at the moment they are still normal despite the PPROM!) and I have no infection. My consultant has said that they aren't going to say no, and I'm within my rights to do so but as the guidelines say 37 weeks that is their medical advice. Just wondering if anyone has managed to push it any later at all and whether you had to against the doctors?

Mine went fully at 37 weeks and I went 3 days over but only as my induction took a while. I wouldn’t have pushed it any further.
