Hi all, I’ve just found out I am pregnant.

We are both over the moon. I have only been in my current job for 6 months after 6 years at my previous role.

Is if normal to feel anxious about telling me employer / colleagues that I’m pregnant after such a short length of time at the company? I can’t help but feel anxious about it. I know I’m just being stupid really but I can’t help it! I worry about everything 🙄

You'll be fine :) you would have made your mark there by the time you go on mat leave, try not to worry

Hi @KellyM1998 congratulations on your pregnancy yay!
Honestly don't feel anxious at all, they'll be happy for you and you have a bit of time before you go on maternity x

I was in a similar position and I had a whole speech planned out. I hardly got the first line out and my boss just gave me a huge hug. My heart was pounding! I thought it would take ages to fall pregnant and I would have been there migh longer but it was so quick. I told them pretty early, partly due to safety because of my line of work but also so it wasn't hanging over me until 12 weeks
