Can you tell gender from 20 week scan photo?

I had my 20 week scan yday and we couldn't find out due to awkward position but I want to know if anyone thinks you can tell from the scan photo - skull perhaps? Also baby is only on 25th percentile.. is that more common with girls v boys?

Gender and sex are not the same thing. Gender is a word used by those who need to spare their blushes by not using the word sex and who don't understand that Gender means regressive sexist stereotypes. Words matter.

Yeah I’m sure the op was too embarrassed to use the word sex , you know, a grown woman. 🙄

Book a private gender scan if the baby was in a bad position for the 20 week scan. They only cost £65 at a clinic close to me.

There's no way you could tell which of the genders they is/are at 20 weeks - they may not have decided yet and it could of course change throughout their lifetime. Two spirit perhaps?

I'm sorry but this makes me mad! It's male or female born and for lifetime! Sorry if I seem old fashioned but you are one or the other biologically!

Nothing old fashioned about biology! This is why we have to ensure that the gender b.s. gets called out every time (even if it is annoying to many people) and we talk about 'sex'.
And OP - just dress the baby in any colours you have, he or she won't care. Although it is amusing to see how much others do get riled - when my babies were in the 'wrong' colour or had flowers/trains on their clothes people would constantly question I was sure they were a boy/girl or tell me that they were wearing the 'wrong' colour. They all love to hear about that now they are teenagers!

This was my 20 week scan here is my 12 week if you can tell anymore from that.

And I wasn't meaning harm by saying gender I'm delighted whoever they turn out to be. I'm talking about whether they will be born with a penis or a vagina.

Going by nub theory it’s a boy
