anyone got any advice on why the test line is so much darker?

No experience with those types but that looks positive ?

@HunkieDorie yes sorry it is positive. That dark line is the one that makes it positive I just wonder why it’s so dark compared to the line that goes horizontal

This is because it’s a super strong positive and your HCG is really high so absolutely congratulations! 🙌

It’s a dye stealer meaning your HCG is high.

This was the same as mine! I was 4 weeks 5 days! He is now a crazy 9 month old! Congratulations!

you stress about ttc then once you get there you stress about how dark the line is!

did any of you test with clear blue digital?
I don’t want to as I haven’t heard great things and don’t want to stress if I don’t see 3+ but just wondered 🙂

I went out and bought a digital straight away because I was in disbelief (due to start IVF that month) and it showed 2-3 weeks about 5 days later it showed 3 weeks xx

@FTM2022SS so you were about 6 weeks when it showed 3+?

I used a digital at 22dpo (so 5 weeks) and it said 3+ no idea if it would have said 3+ before that or not as it was the only digital I did

I’ve just tested this morning, I believe 21dpo so 5 weeks and got 3+ so I’m happy, fingers crossed!

bottom Wednesday(today) midday

Advice please from anyone! So I’ve done 4 tests all different packs all with lines like this tried a digital this morning says not pregnant 😭 should I except the digital test?

Get a first response test.
Clear blue are known for evap lines.
This looks thicker than an evap line and so I’d say positive but I’d get a pink stick to be sure!

They are pretty useless and it’s unlikely they will do much.
You usually have to wait for a midwife appointment which is around 9 weeks after you test positive.
Definitely try the first response tests.
You’ll get a definitive answer that way!

Seeking advice

I’ve done three tests since Saturday which have come up positive but I’m worried the lines are strong enough. My fdlp was 26/05 but I had an early miscarriage so this period lasted longer than normal. It’s hard to calculate gestational age or when I ovulated as I didn’t check.

is this line okay on the test?

I am so panicked that I will miscarry again but I’m further long than I was last time. On another note, I have a healthy 2 y/o son and had no complications in my first pregnancy.
