TWW 4 DPO - anyone testing mid January?

Hi,

I'm in cycle 2, 3-4 DPO. Excited!!! Anyone to share the TWW?

Yup! TTC #2 and this is my first cycle 😁. Very excited! AF is due on the 17th.

I am TTC 2, 5dpo today planning to test on Friday. Not feeling very hopeful!

AF due 19th, so I'll probably wait until 2-3 days before AF is due, so Monday or Tuesday. With my first, I got BFP 3 days before and didn't test before that as I was a lot more relaxed that month. But I'm sure 5 days before I'll be anxious to test 🤣

Is anyone using lh kit, or tracking ovulation in one way or another? AF is not always consistent to the day, sometimes 1-2 days off, so I'm never sure if I actually ovulated. I base it off lh kit and cm, but even then ovulation is not guaranteed?

Hey @PeacefulD. I'm planning to test tomorrow at 11dpo. How about you?

I feel pregnant, so I'm hopeful. I've been nauseous and have had some mild cramping. My nose is also stuffy and my boobs are bigger but don't hurt. Hopefully I haven't got it all wrong!

I have tested this afternoon and there is something catching my eye - I'm about 10dpo (I think but not 100%) but also go a very strong LH test.

Can you see anything?

I tested negative today dpo10. With my first I got v strong positive at dpo11, so I think I'm out. On to the next cycle 🙂 took about 9 cycles with first, so I don't think I'm too worried until about 6 cycles in...

@redo18 I think I can see something on the bottom of where the lines is. Maybe worth testing again tomorrow? Do you have regular cycles?

Hey, sorry to hear you got a negative today - you're not out yet though! I got a BFN today but it took ages for me to get a BFP with my firstborn so I'm still clinging on to hope!

Hi everyone I hope you don’t mind me joining! I’ve been looking for a January thread. I have a daughter and she is 16 months. This is our first cycle ttc for number 2 and I believe it’s a bfp! However as today is due day of period I’m just a bit worried about the colour of the line, any opinions?

@WineCap sorry to hear you got bfn. Babydust!!! I'm actually hopeful for next cycle, it will be our cycle 3 so still early. With my first, it took some time, maybe even a year because I was not tracking cycles, ovulation, but this time I have a bit more experience so feel like it'll be quicker. I stopped BF few months ago and still producing milk for some reason so that might affect things but hopefully it's all ok

@Pinklilly might be worth testing with clearblue or frer, also over next few days to see if the line gets stronger. Also all this depends on whether cycles are regular and whether ovulation was correctly detected. Congratulations, it is a good bfp and hope all goes well next few days/weeks to get that extra reassurance.

@Pinklilly It looks like a BFP to me! Let us know when you retest!

@PeacefulD I've also only just given up BF. I hope that doesn't have an impact! I thought once your cycle was back then you're good to go? Forgive my ignorance if I'm wrong 😂.

Just got a very faint positive 🤞🤞 going to test again in a few days. 4th pregnancy but have had 3 mc so praying this is my first living child 🌈

Thank you @PeacefulD and @WineCap i tested again today and the strip test is darker! So that’s positive hopefully. I will pop out and get clear blue today as well.
I just know with my daughter at this point I felt this heightened sense of smell but that hasn’t happened.
@WineCap with respect to breastfeeding j thought the same. My periods returned at 6months and my daughter was EBF. I figured as periods were back I could fall pregnant. Still feeding her now- she is 16 months and it’s happened so I think you’re right.

so The clear blue has confirmed it. Will test again in a week and hope the weeks have increased!

AF back this morning. I even tested before it arrived and saw the evap line 🤣on to the next cycle!

Thank you @WineCap . I am excited but feel a bit nervous I’m not sure why. My husband was very sweet yesterday and bought flowers and dessert and it made me feel calmer about everything. I hope you’re doing well!

@PeacefulD ergh sorry about AF. But glad you didn’t have to spend ages wondering if the line was a line etc.
although I don’t want to confuse you- with my daughter I tested saw a faint line and then had bleeding so assumed the line was indent and AF had arrived. Turned out it was just spotting and I was pregnant. So just keep an eye on the AF- if it seems different to normal perhaps test again.

@MrsF111 congratulations- I can’t imagine how you must be feeling, will be keeping fingers crossed all works out for you!

I'm one day late - negative pregnancy tests but positive OPK (attached pic) so who knows what is going on. Want my AF to appear now so I can move onto the next cycles. I'm normally 28 days like clockwork

@Pinklilly I think it's completely normal to feel nervous or anxious after a BFP. It sounds like you have a lovely DP to look after you at least!

@redo18 There's still time for that BFP! I have got a faint positive now, but it is nothing like BFPs I've seen on here at 15DPO. Some people just take a while.

I'm not feeling hopeful, really don't think I'm pregnant but equally do not feel AF is about to start either. Who knows!

AF is in full swing here 😅 I am usually like clockwork with AF and ovulation, looking forward to this cycle!
