Diarrhoea 19 weeks

I’m 19 weeks and 4 days and have suddenly had a bout of diarrhoea today. I’ve mainly been constipated and had hard stools this entire pregnancy so the sudden change has me worried. I’ve had three previous miscarriages so afraid this is a sign of a hormone drop and premature labour.

Has anyone had a sudden bout of diarrhoea in the second trimester and was everything ok?

Yes I had the same thing - can’t remember exactly when but definitely second trimester. I’d also been constipated up to that point. I had no other symptoms and everything was fine - my little girl was born 6 weeks ago. I put it down to my body reacting to months of constipation! If you’ve got no other symptoms then hopefully nothing to worry about - though might be worth getting checked if diarrhoea continues x
