Hiya. I've had morning sickness all the way through my pregnancy. It'll just be first thing on a morning whilst my stomach is empty. Once I've been sick I'm fine then for the rest of the day. Even in the first trimester this is how it went.

However for the last 4 days I've had such bad sickness it's getting me down :( I kept just bringing my evening meal back up, until my stomach is empty. I thought perhaps my meals could do with being smaller.. so yesterday I ate 2x toast for breakfast, which stayed put. I had 1x toast for lunch. (I know it's not nutritious enough, but it's all I could stomach the thought of eating). DP got a curry for tea last night so I had 3x poppadoms for my tea.. they came straight back up. So it's not the amount of food.

This morning I did the usual morning sickness routine. I then made a coffee and within five mins of finishing it I threw it all straight back up. :(

I struggle every day with SPD, swelling and carpal tunnel in both hands, now these recent episodes of sickness are getting me down. :( If my stomach is empty I feel sick (that's been my usual all preg), but now if I eat I often feel really sick.

Has anyone any tips for dealing with this?? Feels like I've got ages left until due date.

@GoT1904 really sorry to hear you’ve been so poorly. I’m 28weeks and still being sick as well. Has your midwife/ consultant/ GP prescribed you anything? I’ve currently got omeprazole which I’m finding to actually help. My midwife also suggested starting the day with a smoothie before doing anything- It doesn’t always stay down but at least it doesn’t hurt when it comes back up. Def worth chatting with them to see what they suggest / can prescribe. Fingers crossed it’s jist a bad week and things will improve in a day or so, in the meantime jist eat whatever will stay in (if anything will?!) xx
