Amniotic fluid or discharge ?

Hey all I'm 25+2 and I just went to the toilet and my underwear was really wet, it's clear (the underwear just goes this colour when wet)

Would this be discharge or amniotic fluid? First pregnancy so a little worried

I used to get loads of discharge when pregnant, but it’s hard to tell. I’d put a pad on and see what happens. Maybe lie down for a while and then see if you get any gushes when you stand up? But really I’d phone maternity assessment and get their advice, they are great and honestly don’t mind you phoning.

I would ring the maternity unit for advice but I do remember similar with me and it was just watery discharge. I'd put a pad on top to monitor. Always best to get peace of mind by ringing though.

I also had a lot of watery discharge when pregnant, started about 20 weeks and was a bit alarming at first.
I then had a lot around my due date and had to go into hospital so they could see if it was leaking amniotic fluid. The test came back clear and turns out I had BV but no other symptoms.

What does it small like?

It doesn't smell like anything

I called the maternity advice line and they said pop a proper pair of underwear on and a pad and check it again in 30 mins
