Threatened miscarriage 6+5

Hi everyone I am 6+5 had the most horrendous period cramps that went into my thighs, had shivers and then went so warm felt like I was going to faint. Couldn’t get comfy in any position then after a couple of hours I went to the loo and red blood in the toilet and when I wiped 😫rang 24hr midwife and they checked me over internally and there was blood in the vagina but womb was still closed. The dr thinks threatened miscarriage but until my scan can’t be 100%. I have got to go back today for a scan but just wondered if anyone else has had a threatened miscarriage and been ok? The pain was so intense anc I’m still having twinges now.
Any answers would be appreciated. Thankyou x

The frustrating thing this early on in pregnancy there is nothing anyone can do. Your pregnancy is viable or it is not.. it's very very hard, have had many miscarriages myself.

@minmooch thanks for your reply, the scan was inconclusive so having bloods retaken on Monday but I think I know the answer already especially with my symptoms as well. 🥲
