Low PAPP-A - continue or stop Cyclogest / progesterone

Hi all,

I have PCOS and had very low progesterone early in pregnancy so I got given Cyclogest (progesterone) pessaries to help support the pregnancy. I have been told to stop at 16 weeks pregnant.

I am currently 14 weeks pregnant and I have just had my screening results back which say I have low PAPP-A. As this means there could be something wrong with the placenta I’m worried that it won’t produce enough progesterone on its own when I stop the Cyclogest.

Has anyone been told they have low PAPP-A whilst being on Cyclogest and were they advised to stop it or continue throughout pregnancy?

Thank you

I know you wrote this a while ago but wondered if you had any updated as I'm in same situation.

Many thanks
