subchorionic hemorrhage

Just had the most scary 24 hours ever and have never seen so much blood 😳

I started bleeding and clotting very very heavily yesterday at 5pm, midwife said to go straight to A&E where they done tests ect and discharged me with an emergency scan booked in for the morning (today) typically it was meant to be our 12 week scan today! This has been rebooked for Monday.

I'm 13 weeks pregnant and all was fine with scan, baby is active and has a strong heartbeat. Sonographer saw some more bleeding around the amniotic sac which will pass in due time! She said I had subchorionic hemorrhage.

Has anyone suffered from this and was all okay after the bleeding had passed?

@itsme432 hey! I'm sorry you are going through this, i had an awful awful bleed at 8 weeks reallt really heavy with clots, epu said it was a hematoma, I'm now 17 weeks and nothing since the huge bleed tailed off xx

I had a Hematoma at 13 weeks with my second baby (6cm) and bled on and off until 18 weeks. It was initially classified as a threatened miscarriage which was terrifying. He's now 8 months old and currently babbling away 🥰

I had this weeks 5-9 and it was terrifying. Bed rest helped. It resolved and she is now 11!

Mine was initially a threatened miscarriage aswell and i truly believed i was miscarriaging. The scan has definitely put my mind at ease and I'm just glad baby is doing okay in there!

Thankyou, I'm hoping this bleeding stops and I dont get any more. I will have more of a chance to speak to someone about it on Monday and ask questions!

Hello, I'm going through this too. Had first Experience at about 8 weeks. Passed a huge clot and thought it was all over but baby seemed fine. Hoped that was the end of of problems but same thing happened again last week (12 weeks 4 days). Absolutely terrifying but again baby seemed fine. I'm now 13 weeks 4 days and hoping it doesn't happen again. It's very nervewracking. Glad I'm not alone in this hell!

I had this with my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies at 15 & 18 weeks. Once bleeding stopped, all was fine, didn't happen again and they're now 14 & 10 xx
