Hi ladies ! Anyone 40+ Ttc or have success stories . I just turned 40 and want to try for a baby but worried it’s too late for me . As family and friends keeps on telling me I’m too old now . Any success stories ? I’m willing to do IVF if needed , just very depressed from what my family and friends have been telling me to just forget about it .

Half of my friends got pregnant at 40-41! It’s not too late

But worth doing a fertility MOT somewhere perhaps and taking vitamins

also look into the SMEP (sperm meets egg plan) which worked for us and maximises your chances of natural conception

Hi @Yazyaz just wondering how you got on with your TTC journey?

@Seryse did your patient conceive naturally?

She was on the journey by herself, had tried sperm donation here but ultimately went abroad for IVF (I want to say Greece or Turkey... but I might absolutely be remembering that wrong) which resulted in 2 attempts, 2nd one she fell pregnant with the twins I delivered.

Turned 39 in December and got pregnant on first try in January. I’m due six weeks before I turn 40. First baby.

Don’t know if this helped but husband (40) and I don’t smoke, have a healthy BMI and both took Biocare Multi Pregnancy/Mens health supplements for six months before trying. I don’t drink and he had max 2 drinks a week for a year before trying.
