Hi all - looking for advice, its is my first pregnancy and I have just found out am pregnant with twins. I have a week holiday booked in Greece already, with the return flight I will be 24 weeks +2.
Has anyone had experience travelling this late, want to try and reset my expectations early if necessary!
Thanks

Honestly if you are covered under travel insurance (or otherwise get a refund/postpone) I’d cancel.

twins is too high risk. At 24 weeks possibly with a single.

Congratulations!

That's a good time to travel. You will hopefully be in the blooming phase rather than feeling rubbish (at the start) or feeling massive (which will come later).

Obviously keep talking to your consultant. Some twin pregnancies are higher risk than others.

I could barely walk by twenty weeks when I had my twins, I was huge, I certainly wouldn't have wanted to sit on a plane

32 weeks is the risky time for twins vs 37 weeks with single babies. It depends how comfortable you are it could be a lovely babymoon vs a sweaty mess. Your going to Greece not the third world so aslong as you have insurance medical care should be fine

I’ve travelled at 34 weeks but only with singletons. I don’t think I’d risk it with twins, personally.

Thanks all - will be keeping in contact with consultant, but its nice to hear first hand experiences too.
