Hi all,

I’m really just looking for some reassurance. I’m 7+2 weeks and over the past couple of days my symptoms have completely disappeared. I hade headaches, a sore lower back and sore boobs and I have woken up feeling completely fine the last two mornings.

To be honest, I had a total break down last night as this is my fourth pregnancy after three early losses in a year. I just feel that I’m going to lose this one too and I don’t know how I’ll cope.

I had a scan at 6+1 and saw a teeny baby with a heartbeat but I know that means nothing.

Has anyone had this experience and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy?

Thanks in advance,

Jenny

Hi @JLB234 didn't want to read and run. I have also had 3 losses in the past year and currently 7 weeks with my 5th pregnancy (i have a 2.5 year old)

I feel exactly the same as you, I have an early scan at the EPU tomorrow morning and I am just waiting for bad news. I have been prescribed progesterone for this pregnancy, have you?

I remember googling loss of symptoms during my first pregnancy and that resulted in my daughter so it can be perfectly normal. I understand the worry though after 3 losses.

Hang in there, OP. Symptoms can come and go. I know the stress, I have had three losses as well before having a successful pregnancy.

Have they previously done any investigations into your previous losses? After three miscarriages, you are entitled to them.

Could you perhaps book yourself in for a scan somewhere privately? Perhaps for in a week or so (you don't want to overdo it), so you have it in the calendar, and at least feel like you are 'doing' something? With a bit of luck your symptoms might have returned by then already.

I hope all ends well for you both!

My symptoms came and went between weeks 5-8 in both my successful pregnancies, on and off. I'm now holding my 3 week old son and have a 2 year old eating a banana on the sofa next to me!

When I had my mmc, my symptoms never disappeared at all.

Thanks so much for this. It’s such an anxious time. I really appreciate your reassurance. @Stargazer89 I’m also taking progesterone. Although now I’m concerned that the progesterone will mask a miscarriage if it’s happening You just can’t win, can you! I really hope everything works out for you and it’s good news from your scan. It’s heartbreaking to go through the losses that we have.

Thank you for the advice @ncedforthisone. I had all of the tests which came back as normal but they suspect I have a Luteal Phase defect so I’m on 800mg progesterone daily. I’ve spoken to the EPU this afternoon who have been lovely and have booked me in for a scan on Wednesday when I should be 8 weeks so hopefully they can give me some reassurance and if not, then at least I’ll know.

@Chanel05 thanks so much. That does make me feel better. I feel like I’m going crazy but I’m just so desperate to finally have a baby. The things we put ourselves through!

Hi there, any update since?

I’m so sorry to hear about you loses 😞
My first pregnancy ended in a mmc this past February so I can help but over think.

I'm currently going through a similar issue. Today at 7 weeks, I have no symptoms. At 5 weeks I had nausea, sore boobs, and food aversions. Now all of that has gone. I have a scan later today I’m trying not to psych myself out too much :(

Hi, how did this go? Hope everything is well OP. I recently found out I had a MMC Monday just gone, suppose to be 12 weeks, baby measured 8+3, seen heartbeat at 8 weeks, symptoms stopped a few days later. I was concerned but not to bad because I'd seen a heartbeat and knew symptoms could come and go. Hope everything is okay
