Hello from baby and me ! Wanted to know if there's any UK mums near or around Essex that would like to buddy up, chat and share their journeys together < 3
I have a high risk pregnancy, currently 18weeks +3 ( due June 5th, but more likely to be early. due to my health history my doctor didn't want me to go full term anyway).

Please share anything you'd like ^^ it's nice to be close to others on here x

Sometimes it's hard to start so I thought I'd write some questions to help for those who would like to answer. Don't feel like you have to answer them I just can't help but think of things to ask so we can get to know each other !

What's your pregnancy been like for you and your family + friends ??
If you were sending me a postcard from the most recent happy place you've been to where would you be sending it from ? (mine is stamped from the fridge... with love of course)
Do you have or had any cravings ? What's the one craving you've heard someone else have that you thought was unbelievable ?? My aunt loved mars bars and pickles apparently- I could never.
What do you like to do to plan for future baby ? Who do you think has the best advice ? What do you think you've missed out on/wish you had done more ? Can you stand it when someone wears odd socks ?

Wishing everyone well wishes and yummy food ~

UK buddy up ?

Bump -
update I had my first community midwife appointment and the baby is very noisy they both struggled to listen to the heart beat for long enough because it was moving around a lot. The relief and safety from that is overwhelming :' )

Hi I'm in Essex too and due on the 24th June with my first so just coming up to 17 weeks. I only moved to Essex from Kent 5 years ago so don't really know anyone up here yet so happy to chat. Hoping I can make some mum friends when baby is born. I had my first community midwife appointment yesterday too and also heard the heartbeat which was amazing and such a relief. This is an ivf pregnancy so I've been so anxious about something going wrong but all good so far. I have a gender scan booked for tomorrow and so excited to find out what we're having!

Its the first grandchild on my side of the family so everyone is super excited, 4th on my husband's side so they're a bit calmer but still happy for us. I've not really had any cravings although I went off chocolate in my first trimester. Luckily back to liking it again now just in time to eat all the left over Christmas chocolates!

Oh wow, nice to meet you ! I recently downloaded the app peanut because these threads get drowned out sometimes :' ) I'm so glad to hear about your baby's heartbeat, wish we could do that everyday. I'll cross my fingers for you. Congrats on battling through. What made you want to know the gender ? Have you got names in mind ?

Aha I'm sure they're going to be spoilt on one side for sure then. I'm first for both ... the excitement is a lot.

that's a unique one to have ! I know people say they get more of a sweet tooth sometimes. Hope you enjoyed your choco filled Christmas then <3
