Looking for some advice I am currently 31 weeks wi the my 4th baby I had iron transfusion on Tuesday and to have another next Tuesday. I feel so exhausted like I can hardly see even when I had a good nights sleep my eyes feel like they have something stopping them from seeing light, when people are talking to me I can hear them but not processing what there saying has anyone else had something like this and baby’s came early, my moods have been up and down also 😴🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank the massive hormone changes for your "moods" and it's normal to feel utterly exhausted when you have anaemia or are low on iron. I lost a lot of blood once and was ill for a number of weeks, felt awful.

Plus your body is working so hard anyway growing a baby.

Go easy on yourself and get rest when you can. Ring your midwife if you have any concerns, no matter how small.

Xx

Thank you I felt like this with second also it’s so draining and you feel like you have been taking something as you feel spaced out but I haven’t took nothing it’s such a weird feeling, I lost loads blood with my 3rd and ended up with blood transfusion that’s why they want to give me the iron infusion now but it’s on the low side also, pregnancy really takes it out of us xx

Yes I remember the spaced out feeling. I can remember being so weak I couldn't hold my baby (lost blood during birth).

You have my sympathy 💐
