Hi all, first pregnancy for me, 12 weeks currently and I have a FMS I was wondering if any other mums with FMS can share there experiences of pregnancy and managing flare ups etc. Also how do you think FMS affected your birth? I'm already thinking ahead to birth and fearful of the endurance and the effect a long labour could have on fatigue levels- wanting to be a present as I can for baby when they're here. Midwife suggested we discuss c section nearer the time. Would love to know your experiences and any advice. X

Hiya, I can't help but an intrigued to see what others say! This is my second pregnancy but my first pregnancy since having fibromyalgia. I want to avoid a c section but am aware of why it's strongly recommended for us. I'm struggling since having to come off of Gabapentin in general with the pregnancy but am hoping things even out a bit soon!

It's tough isn't it, especially coming off of pain meds. I'm in the same boat, keen to avoid a c sec but I can understand why they advise it. Hope things get better for you soon lovely. X
