No movement pattern

I’m 27 weeks tomorrow and still have no pattern to baby’s movement so have had to go maternity unit to have him checked a few times already, some days he will move loads and loads all day and night and then other days he barely moves at all and then other day he’ll move a bit in the morning and then nothing for the rest of the day, has anyone else had this and what do you do?

Some people just don't. I barely felt my daughter in comparison to my son,no pattern or feeling anything until 24 weeks. I had an anterior placenta with her and posterior with him, felt him from 16 weeks.
You're doing the right thing by going to be checked and please always do this and never leave it to chance, no matter how many times you go.
Keep mentioning to your midwife. Do you have lots of water?

I was the same and second guesses myself all the time, I'd go a full day and assume everything was ok but then freak out the next morning. I went to have him checked a few times and he was perfectly fine. Just not a big mover and nicely tucked in. All that happened was I got sent for an extra scan after the 3rd instance I think to be sure everything was ok.

@Bumblebee412 I had an anterior placenta with my first son too and literally never felt him, no one could ever really feel him from the outside either but this time it's posterior so I thought maybe I'd feel more which sometimes I do but sometimes I don't, I'll definitely go in everytime it happens because it's not worth the risk of not, my midwife has said we'll do growth scans as my first was quite small

@BestName I've been sent for a growth scan too and another soon, it's hard isn't it because you know chances are everything is fine but it's impossible to know when they don't move, feel like I'm gonna be there constantly until I have him

I never noticed a pattern with my son either - I felt him move plenty, but some days were definitely quieter than others. Even towards the end there was no discernible pattern for timings and/or frequency. Go in if you're worried, but I also don't believe that "every baby has a movement pattern" (unless my son's pattern was no pattern...). I did also have anterior placenta though, so maybe had an impact? I wouldn't have though it would at the end though, when there still wasn't a pattern...

I have the exact same (and did previously) sometimes baby is having a lazy day, sometimes nonstop! Never been able to ascertain a pattern, though (except after sugary food etc.)
