Weird food aversion?

Carrots! Is that strange? I've had two different brands - Waitrose and M&S - and both taste horrible. Am I just getting bad carrots?

WHen I was pregnat with dd2 I couldn't stand tomtoes and a friend of mine totally went off anything with even a hint of onion!

Carrots can often taste quite soapy - so it could be that.

Or, you have just gone off them.

Ive gone off loads of things, the cauliflower on my sunday roast made me puke!!! Oh and normally i LOVE garlic - i cant tolerate it now - yuk!x

I can't stomach any fruit or veg at the min and am 14w pg been like this for the last 8 weeks!
With everything else I can love it one day and hate it the next unfortunatly!

to begin with I could eat very little, basically potatoes and cheese

couldn't eat chocolate - the misery! I am now 18 wks and can eat most things again

Takeaway from our local restaurant whuch we have been having for years!!!

I eat it doesnt matter what ive tried different things and couple hours later it comes back up!!!
Must be oil they cook in i reckon!

Can you believe fresh basil, one of the nicest smells in the world, totally turned my stomach when I was pregnant.

I had a weird experience at the weekend, went to a posh restaurant and adventurously had 'braised pigs head' (boy food). Anway, I could smell the plate coming from miles away. The waiter put it down in front of me, and the smell was like a ton of sweaty socks combined with fresh horse manure and left in the sun for a week to mature. But my mum who was with me couldn't smell a thing, her nose is in perfecgt working order so I am sure it was just me. I had to beg the waiter to take the plate away. Had the soup instead. Never eating pork again. Except bacon maybe.

I can only eat sweet things- feel so unhealthy, Can't look, touch, talk about vegetables! Aghh! Also have gone off tea but hear that's quite a common one.
