What did you do to help your mental health during pregnancy?

My husband and I are expecting our first child. It's still early 7/8 weeks.

I am over the moon has we lost a previous baby before due to mc. And we had been trying for a while.

My nausea comes and goes. When it's here it's horrible. I get cramps, diarrhoea, tiredness. Basically what everyone else gets and feels.

But it's really affecting my mental health, I'm so anxious all the time. I wake up with terrible anxiety every morning.

Any tips on how to improve this. I use to go to the gym everyday but stopped going as I'm worried I make myself sick. And the toilets aren't near by.

If your used to being active but don't want to go to the gym could you exercise at home? It could help with your anxiety and there's plenty of pregnancy yoga/exercise videos on YouTube. Pregnancy is really tough especially in the first trimester, rest as much as possible. If your anxiety is really bad you could speak to your doctor/midwife there is medication you can be prescribed when pregnant. Good luck 🍀
