I’m 30 weeks with placenta praevia (fully covering and not budging at 28 weeks, scan at 32 weeks to check not covering previous c section scar)
Trip to hospital at the weekend due to a lot of brown blood including clots. Baby felt fine and my stats were fine and I was examined and no fresh blood. Doctor told me not to worry unless there is red/pink blood or obviously change in movements etc.
But the brown blood is constant and really making me worry, if brown blood is old blood then once it was fresh blood? Now I’m worried it’s just going to turn to red blood. Yesterday I sat at home and did nothing and had no brown, today I only went for a half hour walk today and lots of brown again! It’s making me scared to do anything at all!
I have a midwife appointment this week anyway where I can express any concerns but I imagine she can’t really tell me if brown always leads to red so just wondered if anyone had anything similar anecdotally?
