Symptoms gone at 9 weeks?

I'm currently 10+3 and since around the 9 week mark my symptoms have pretty much dissapeared.

I was only having mild symptoms anyway. Slight nausea in the evenings, slight sore nipples... I had a scan at 8+5 and all looked well, but back in August I had a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks (baby passed two days after I had a scan where all looked well...) and I lost symptoms then too, so I guess I'm just paranoid.

I no longer seem to be as bloated either. I couldn't fasten any of my jeans a couple of weeks ago and now I can fasten them all absolutely fine. The only thing I do still have is the need to wee more than usual.

I have my dating scan in a week and two days but it just feels so far away 😫 Has anyone else lost symptoms and it all been okay?

@rach971 could it be your placenta taking over? I think we’ve been in loss threads together before so I completely understand your anxiety xx

Hi,

My symptoms all lifted almost completely around 9 weeks too apart from the 2am wee! (I’m 11+1 now) and my bloating dropped off too. I had IVF so a lot of mine was medication though I think. I was rough up until 9 weeks too, exhausted and dizzy with a little bit of nausea.

I had a scan at 7+1 and 9+4 and everything was on track. Only this morning the sore boobs are back and bloating/bit of a bump in the evenings but i haven’t felt pregnant at all for over 2 weeks.
12 week scan on Monday and I’m counting down the minutes! I’m thinking it is where the placenta is taking over the midwife did say from week 9 I’d feel much better….I wouldn’t mind a symptom or two every now and again mind! Xx

I had the exact same thing - almost total loss of symptoms at exactly 9 weeks, to the extent I actually went for a private scan as I was so convinced I’d miscarried and I couldn’t bear waiting for the dating scan. All was absolutely fine and I currently have my 3 week old dream girl asleep on me :)

Hoping for the best for you. If I were you and assuming it’s within your means I’d have a private reassurance scan to put your mind at ease xx

Thank you for this.

I'm going to do another clear blue tomorrow and if it's still 3+ that'll be enough reassurance until the following Monday 🤞🏻

The only symptom I have now is nausea first thing in a morning. I really hope it's all ok!

So happy for you that all is well xx
