Stretching sensation 11 to 12 weeks?

Hi,

I'm 12+1 with an IVF pregnancy and have been feeling mild but distracting cramps since around Xmas Eve, not constant but frequent enough. It's almost like a stretching feeling, not giving me pain more discomfort. I have a retroverted uterus and was wondering if it's shifting up or moving as I can definitely feel a hardness above pubic bone now where things are moving.

Has anyone else had these cramps at this stage?

Yes it's literally what it feels like, it's your uterus stretching. I also had a retrovert uterus had these sensations until about 20 weeks then they settled. Totally normal.

Hi OP, I'm the same gestation as you and have just taken myself to bed because of this same feeling of discomfort. Take it easy and don't overdo things, it's probably just everything shifting about for baby.

Thank you @fairgame84 and @PumpkinDart ! It's a relief to know its normal, it's made me go to bed a few times too, just feel like I don't want to do anything! I saw the baby on NYE on a private acan, bouncing about and healthy but the cramps were distracting and worrying me :)

sorry just jumping on, I’m experiencing this now. Stretching sensations, mild period like pains too? I’m 12+4 today. Do you think this is normal?

Heya! I had that round about the 12 week mark for sure, but if in doubt always check with your midwife :) I had stretching and mild cramping sensations though and all well sonfar at 35 weeks
