feeling always freezing in early pregnancy, is it normal?

i am constantly under a blanket, and wear lots of layers, and I am still shivering, have been like this for the last 2 weeks and i am 7 weeks pregnant...don't rememmber feeling like this in my previous pregnancy..

Hello all glad I am not the only one freezing at 6 weeks. Before pregnant I was always the cold person.(average temp 36.4). When I got pregnant my temps went up (never over 37 degrees though) and stayed high until thus week so I was panicing that it was another miscarriage. But reading your posts puts me a little more at ease. I still have sore breasts and feel exhausted and yucky but not actually sick. I am hoping to get an early scan next week to see it I have a heartbeat. I am 44 years old and this is a natural pregnancy so have all fingers crossed at the mo.

I was freezing at the beginning of both my pregnancies, the second time around it was what made me suspect I was pg (it was April and not really cold at all but I was permanently in my slanket).

Oh goodness, I was freezing and shivered through my first 13 weeks - and it was July / August! I even pulled a muscle in my back from tensing up so much with the cold shivers and I had the fan heater on at work - everyone thought I had completely lost the plot. Glad to now learn that this was relatively normal!

I'm always feeling cold and my partner thinks I'm nuts lol, in my 6th week on my first so glad to know I'm not alone with the constant feeling cold!

Thank god. I thought it was something bad. It's also finally winter here in SoCal. I just had a shiver attack. Now I'm under a thick blanket

And 7 weeks prego

I'm 5 weeks with my first ever pregnancy!! So cold all the time!! Cannot get warm at all!! Sleeping with layers on and a hot water bottle!! Husband is sweated out!

I was freezing cold until 12/13 wks - constantly shivering, huddling against the radiators at work and wearing extra layers... DH says he knew I was pg before I did because I just couldn't warm up!

I froze because I stopped eating & digesting (too busy puking).

I was freezing in both pg. Buth babies were early autumn, so being generally cold worked well when I was massive in high summer!

24 weeks here and still cold but probably not as bad as early on when I was constantly absolutely freezing. It happened with both pregnancies but both were early over winter. I keep waiting for the weather to warm up, I'm sure it will solve all my problems

I'm nearly 27 weeks and still freezing too!
