Intense Cramping at 5weeks 4days

Hi, I'm really, really hoping someone can help me or offer any advice.

I have had 2 previous miscarriages within the past 18 months. I have been seeing a private gynaecologist and at my last appointment, she told me to get pregnant so that she could monitor how my body reacts to the pregnancy.

Well, I fell pregnant immediately and I am now 5 weeks and 4 days. Because me and my husband were actively trying and I was testing every day, I found out pretty early on, and I have a scan next week with my private gynaecologist to check baby's progress and how well my body is reacting to the pregnancy.

My problem is, I have been cramping pretty much from the word go. At first they were spaced out, manageable, and a hot water bottle soothed the pain, however over the past 3-4 days, the cramps have gotten much worse and are now causing me to vomit, stopping me from sleeping, I'm struggling to walk, and even though I work a desk job in an office, the pain is distracting me from work. I've got a hot water bottle on my stomach pretty much all day every day, and I'm terrified I'm going through another miscarriage.

So far, I have had no blood. My previous miscarriages were both at 8 weeks. I'm struggling to reach my usual doctor due to the surgery being closed over the holidays, and my GP has been useless from my first pregnancy (hence why I've had to go private). I don't want to go to A&E if they'll make me wait for hours just to turn me away and say they can't do anything, but equally if there's a chance of helping the baby then I'll do whatever is necessary.

Please, please, does anyone have any advice? I desperately don't want to lose my rainbow baby!

Could you call out of hours they may give you an appointment better than sitting in a&e. Hope all goes well x
