Found out today I’m pregnant with baby number 2. Was due AF today do tests are very faint still but a digital said pregnant. We’re not telling anyone until 12 weeks apart from my manager due to working in a clinical setting. However I think we will also have to tell my in laws fairly soon as I was sick as a dog last time and we’re round at there’s fairly regularly so don’t think I’ll be able to hide it for long. I’m feeling quite nervous really, we were going to start trying in March so it’s not a complete shock but now I’m worrying how DD will take this, she is only three and I’m wondering how to get her prepared for the big change. Any advice would be appreciated

Honestly don't worry. Think DD will be absolutely over the moon- I'd suggest you wait to tell her unless you can hide the sickness etc otherwise you'll be driven mad with 'when will baby arrive'. Probably start preparing her after 12/16 week mark. Make it exciting for her that she's going to be a big sister etc. Maybe get her a special book- the Helen Lacey one is great for kids to 'track' the pregnancy.
