Screening for syndrome at 13 weeks

Hello I'm 14 weeks I just had my results back for the screening for down , Edward and Patau syndrome. My results have come back as intermediate on the edwards and patau syndrome and will need further testing just wondering anyone who's gone through similar and what was your outcomes? I'm hoping the second test will come back all negative and when Ive research it's all about high risks results nothing on intermediate.

Hi OP, didn't want to read and run. I haven't been through this but have a friend who's initial testing came back the same as yours but the NF was measuring normal etc. Her baby was born last year without any genetic condition. Hope the testing goes well for you xx

Thank you for sharing, do you know whether she had to have more scans ect or if she was then classed as a high risk pregnancy even tho the second test was all okay ?

She was consultant led for another issue and did have extra scans but I'm not sure if it was because of the initial worries, I'll ask her and get back to you!
