Nervous for 20 week scan

20 week scan tomorrow and I’m so so nervous! It’s our first baby, and I think what’s making me feel worse is that I barely have any bump yet and I’ve still not felt any movement. Midwife also wouldn’t listen to the heartbeat at the 16 week appointment . I’m so anxious, I keep trying to tell myself statistically everything is fine but it’s so nerve wracking I can’t think about anything else today. Thankfully I’m off work this week. Any advice on how to calm down a bit? Did anyone else feel like this?

I wish you all the best for tomorrow ❤️
As for the movement, think it's very normal to not feel any at this stage with your first.
Let us know how you get on 😊

No advice @Plazaheart but I’m feeling the same as you.
Due for my 20 weeks at the end of January and nervous as hell.
Had a bad flu and fever during the formation and closure weeks of the neural tube and now again at 15 weeks.
Terrified something will be wrong with him 😢

I'm 16 weeks and feel exactly the same. I can't enjoy this pregnancy because I'm constantly worried somethings going to be wrong.
I have a gender scan booked for Saturday and instead of being excited I'm dreading it.
I can't see much of a bump either, despite expecting twins and these being my 5th and 6th babies. But then again, I have a lovely mum tum covering anything that's there.
Good luck with the scan, I'm sure our anxiety is pretty normal x
