18 week anatomy scan concerns

Hi all, currently 19w1d. Last week I had my 18 week anatomy scan of baby and today my obgyn vaguely went over the results. She said she is referring me to MFM specialist to get a clearer ultrasound as they found cysts in baby's brain & black spots on kidneys. She was extremely vague and I've been sobbing all day. I am beyond mortified and afraid. Does anyone have experience with this? I'm still waiting to be scheduled an appointment with the specialist and all I can do is think the worst at this point. This is my second pregnancy, my first I miscarried twins at 11weeks. I don't want to have to go through this again :(

I'm so sorry you're going through this and having these worries! I hate when people are vague like this. Could you maybe ring up the hospital and ask to speak to someone who can further explain the results to you on the phone? Just say it's causing you a lot of anxiety and you're not willing to wait for an app. Hope everything is okay! Xx
