i panic as already had 2 m/c and one was a missed so did not find out til my scan. is there a chance i could get one early? i hate finding out so early!! i have an 11 month old and do not remember having cramps or not though i had severe ones with my missed m/c.

Hi Bethoo - I am getting AF like pain too and am also 5 weeks (know you from the Oct thread). It must be incredibly hard waiting after 2 m/c but what you are feeling is so so normal. I didn't get any symptoms until 7 weeks with DD and the AF pains are usually just your uterus stretching and growing. Its smaller than your fist normally and has to grow an enormous amount! If you haven't got any bleeding I would try to stay calm. I know how hard this is though...

I'm 29 weeks and at 5 weeks was convinced I was going to get my period as I had really quite strong period cramps, just like I was going to come on. Once I'd tested and knew I was pregnant I had no symptoms for a couple of weeks then nausea started. Cramps continued on and off well into the pregnancy. Was told it was ligaments and muscles moving and stretching.
HTH

i started to feel sick at about week 5, but i had period pains and thought i was having a m/c but they went. its normal to feel the normal period type pains early in pregnancy, dont worry. i'm 7 months now.

bethoo · 04/02/2008 10:27
