Kicks in the bum - normal?!

Hi all

25+4, and getting a lot of kicks in what I can only describe as the anal zone - they feel juddery if that makes sense? I didn’t have this with DD but this time my placenta is anterior and also very low down (waiting for a scan to see if it’s moved 😭), whereas with her it was high and posterior.

Just curious really as it feels so odd!

Not too sure. I definitely experienced a lot of kicks/head butts down the way which was jarring sort of in my v and bum area. I think I was a bit later on than u r tho but I have only one baby so maybe u feel more sooner with others ? Hope ur okay !

I'm in my third trimester and not felt kicks in the bum area but felt as if I had some in my legs (definitely not possible 😅). My theories were:

  1. Referred sensation from elsewhere
  2. It was a standard leg muscle spasm which I misinterpreted.

So the butt kicks could be similar. Referred sensation from kicks elsewhere or maybe anal pain/spasm which the brain has interpreted as potential kicks.

I had kicks like that when he was breech

Baby is definitely breech as saw it on a scan a couple of weeks ago! Could be that I suppose…
