So I've recently found out I'm pregnant yayy!

However I am very hairy, and I'm dark haired. And a bit embarrassed.

Are there any products you would recommend (not hair removal) I could get to dye the hair or remove it with?

Nervous to turn up at my scans looking like a beast!!! Lol

Congratulations! I wouldn’t bother. You’ll get more or less hair in all sorts of places as the months go by, easier to just accept it. Medical pr

Leave it alone. They will have seen it all before and won’t care at all!

AnneLovesGilbert · 27/12/2022 20:15

Sorry.

Medical professionals won’t care a jot.

I never have noticeable hair on my belly usually, all kinds body hair is very light, but with both pregnancies I’ve got loads of down all over it and it’s quite nice, like it’s keeping the baby warm.

Oh ffs. I’ve pretty much stopped growing leg hair but do have a very downy lower back and my best ever eyebrows. It’s just hormones and most of the changes will reverse after you’ve had your baby.

Nobody cares.

I have had this in both my pregnancies, hair all over my stomach from very early on. I wouldn’t worry OP, it goes away after the birth.

I always used the boots own Jolen stuff.

I had this. I just left it. No one batted an eye. I also went to delivery having not so much as shaved my legs. Medical staff aren't bothered by hair and, if it is in the way at any point, they will just shave it off (eg during a c section they remove a small amount at the site of the incision). It's really not an issue.
