Im 37 weeks today and have decided due to a prolapse I'd want a c section due to anxiety of pushing etc.
i spoke to my midwife at 34 weeks and she referred me to a pelvic health email address who when I contacted them they said they weren't accepting referrals so had to go back to my midwife etc, I spoke to her again at 36 weeks for a c section referral and she made the phone call but I can't get an appointment to discuss this with a consultant until I'm 39 weeks.
Has anyone else had a referral this late and if so how did it go and how quickly were you booked in for a c section.
Being 37 weeks today and getting bad back spasms is scaring me because I'd rather not go into labour as my last labour was really short (I was induced by waters being broken but my son was born 3 hours after waters breaking) so terrified of waters going or contractions starting and it being a really quick labour again especially with the prolapse x
