I don't seem to be seeing much line progression. I'm between 4-5 weeks pregnant based on my last period (irregular cycles, so not entirely sure)

My Freedom tests don't seem to be changing much, and the clearblue digital is showing 1-2 weeks.

I'm so scared that there's a problem, can anyone give their advice or experience? Thank you

Darker lines don't necessarily signify anything. There's no need to keep testing.
If you're having any symptoms then contact your local epu

@user432900976 Really? Everyone seems to be talking about line progression, and 'dye stealing'. What about the CB showing 1-2 weeks?

If your periods are irregular could you be earlier than you think?

ChloeN · 26/12/2022 09:23

@Needtobuildabridge Ive seen a few people say they don’t get great progression on those cheapie strips, how many days apart have you taken the clearblue? Xx

It's a misconception. People mention it on here but it doesn't necessarily indicate anything.

The 1-2 weeks is something else. You could attend your epu

@user432900976 Thank you for you help. I just can't shake the feeling that something isn't right. I'll contact my EPU as you said.

@lemonyfox I guess I could be wrong, but I was tracking with OPK and BBT. Both apps have me ovulating on 7th December - which means I'm now 19dpo. The HCG just seems very low for that 😕

Please do. I hope everything is okay but try not to worry too much (easier said than done). Fingers crossed everything is good but if something is wrong you being stressed won't help that. ❤️

Needtobuildabridge · 26/12/2022 09:57

Of course they're closed today 😔 I'll wait until tomorrow and try again.

Don’t be surprised if EPU won’t do anything at this stage. Even when I had an early miscarriage at 6wks, it was very much a case of take another test in 2wks and call us if it’s still showing as positive.

That said, I really wouldn’t read too much in to line progression or the digital weeks predictor. You only have to look on this forum to see others that have had strong lines and still gone on to miscarry, and many folks that have taken a while to see their weeks indicator increase yet still go on to have a healthy pregnancy. Wishing you the best of luck, I know how rubbish the early days are for anxiety, try to take it a day at a time.

Try contacting them tomorrow but if you don't have symptoms like bleeding and paint they might not do anything. This trend of testing has a lot to answer for!

Any update if this was a successful pregnancy? Im in the same boat right now!

Needtobuildabridge · 29/04/2023 21:43

@Lotsoflovexoxoxo

Hi, this wasn't a successful pregnancy. This thread is dated 26th Dec and I began to bleed on the 29th.
However I then conceived literally 2 weeks later, and am now 18 weeks pregnant, with a low-risk pregnancy.

I'm sorry you're going through the same. I tracked my line progression this time as well, and had terrible lines for weeks! In the end I paid for a private HCG blood test to reassue me. Is this an option for you?

Happy to chat if you want x
