Severe back pain!!

I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant and have the worst back pain- it's on the middle of the right hand side of my back, literally so bad sometimes that I can't even sit down properly. I also have a dull ache on the right side of my tummy (just under where your bra would sit) has anyone suffered with this? I am in so much pain Is there anything I can take to ease the pain thank you

Do you have a number you can call for midwife? I would want proper medical advice if you’re in so much pain.

I have the on call midwives number I just feel like I'm being dramatic over back pain- I know I shouldn't as I am in pain but I don't want to feel like I'm wasting their time

I think they would much rather reassure you over nothing than potentially miss something. Hope you’re ok.

I had severe back pain in pregnancy, midwife referred me to physio which was a waste of time. The best thing I did ir my second pregnancy was find a sports massage therapist who specialised in treating pregnant women. It made such a difference.

Kidney infection? The pain I get with these sounds like what you are describing.
