Stopping aspirin and progesterone

Hello!
I am 31+6 weeks at the moment and have been on 150mg aspirin and 400mg progesterone pessary. I have been asked to stop both of them but 34 weeks but quite unsure how to stop them.

  1. Do I stagger the doses - I mean do I take them on alternate days?
  2. Change the dose - take half of the dose?
  3. Or stop suddenly?

Would be grateful if someone who has been on these medications could advice. Thank you x

I was on aspirin throughout my pregnancy and stopped completely as soon as recommended by the doctor. I'm not sure about progesterone. If you're unsure you need to check with your doctor or midwife.

Please check with your doctor or midwife.

I was on progesterone until 28 weeks and aspirin until 36 weeks. I stopped the progesterone by going from 2 a day to 1 a day to 1 every other day and then stopped over the course of about a fortnight but the consultant would have been happy for me just to stop. The aspirin I just stopped.

I was on aspirin until 36 weeks and just stopped as that was what my consultant told me to do.
I wasn't on progesterone so can't answer that one.
